We are much the stronger side so it’s a game we should be winning. The game is at Anfield however, and I expect they will rally for Luis, therefore, I predict they will scrape a draw with the aid of a ridiculous refereeing decision.
What’s Moyes’ record at Anfield, Jimmy?
It’s pathetic CM, and also part of the reason I think we’ll only get a draw there.
We haven’t had a problem scoring this year, it has been the other end and the midfield to a degree. It’s completely the opposite with Everton.
An unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
Merseyside will be the real winner.

very magnanamous there CM, as everton are insignificant i cant see the lads getting too worked up for an easy 2-0 win
Let us whet the appetite for tomorrows derby by having a look back at the goal that even Liverpool fans agree, is the best goal to have ever been scored at Anfield.
Lets also have a look at the way we woz robbed earlier on in the season
Redshite 1-2 Everton
Stevie g. Mirllias/baines
Pen
I’m hoping for a Borini winner and a celebration dedicated to his vilified team mate and best player in the league.
Bit between the teeth totti…old news…
It’s going to be evertons day…
Apart from bragging rights, is there anything at stake in this game?
3 points.
Always one mice…
It’s all entirely predictable at this stage.
The Martinez era is underway, and already there are some reasons to be optimistic for the season ahead. Last week, Everton participated in the Guinness International Champions Cup in the USA, taking on the might of Juventus and Real Madrid. Seamus Coleman scored the winner in their penalty shootout victory over the Italian Champions in San Francisco, with Kevin Mirallas scoring the Everton goal in a game that finished 1-1 at full time. On Saturday night, Everton lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in Los Angeles, with Nikica Jelavic firing Evertons consolation in response to Ronaldos first half brace. One feels it is only a matter of time before these great rivals will be meeting each other in the Champions League.
I watched both games online jimmy…coleman played really well I have to say as did mirillas.fellini was good in patches.the new lad from barca played the 2nd half v real.this guys class.brilliant skill and pace.
Should have got something out of the game v real.hit the woodwork twice, peon not given and a good goal not given.all in all though a good workout v quality opposition.

It’ll be interesting to see what formation Martinez starts the season with and where Coleman fits into it all. Will it be three centre backs, with Coleman and Baines as wing backs in a 3-5-2? I believe he employed a 3-4-3 in the games V Juve and Real. Also, I believe young John Stones was very impressive in the Juve game, is he a centre back or full back?
