Always enjoyed this one

The BBC cannot get him to appear on A Question of Sport, despite the fact that John Parrott is now his brother-in-law. After several rebuffs, the programme took the unusual step of asking Parrott to make a personal request, to which Ferguson replied politely but firmly in the negative, and this time he was only being asked to be a mystery guest.

Tony Mowbray(West Brom manager) and Duncan Ferguson were once playing in an old firm game. At the time Mowbray’s wife was dying of cancer.

Two of them went up for a header and both ended up on the ground. Mowbray offered a hand to pick up Ferguson, and Ferguson responded with ‘‘Fuck off, the only thing you’ll be picking up is a coffin.’’

This was a strong rumour back in the day

Nice gaff

I’d say it has a great island

If Agent Rafa is given the season, he’ll get them relegated.

Rooney favourite to jump into the fire. Be a shame if he left the challenge at Derby mid way through the season, but he’d want his head examined not to at the same time. I find it difficult to believe Wayne has a massive footballing intellect, but who knows.

Rooney has bigged up his loyalty to Derby County and wants to stay with them for the season. I’d say only two clubs would turn his head - Everton, his boyhood club and Manchester United, where he won so much with them. For me, looking at the last two managers/head coaches Utd have had in place, he’s overqualified for the role.

Roberto Martinez was the fav this morning.

You are correct sir. This came up in my feed, so I was going by it, but he seems to be down the pecking order now.

Martinez was 10/1 last night.

Price moves on managers are very unreliable though.

He has. But at the same time, they are fucked regardless.

Big Dunc in for rest of season, and then Big Wayne n’summer, job is oxo

Something really endearing about the fact most people thought Wazza would be clueless as a manager yet he’s proving everyone wrong.

If he did go to Everton, presume Jason Knight would be the first man he’d bring with him.

He has a win rate of 27.7%. He’s doing a decent job, in tough conditions, but I wouldn’t be getting carried away just yet
