Curbs or Pards could do a job
Admirable resilience from Everton to see out the last 40 minutes without conceding. A real positive.
How can Everton compete when the cosy cartel of the big 6 do not want competition. Only allowed buy Gray and Townsend last summer due to financial fair play. At least the big 6 will not be able to stop Newcastle spending.
They wasted hundreds of millions before last summer
Only United, City and Chelsea have spent more than Everton in the last 5 seasons, that’s not even net spend, that’s total spend.
They have the 3rd highest net spend, behind only United and City.
They’ve the 6th highest wage bill in the league as well
