The Official TFK Farming Thread

All parties are on the same page mate. He is defining the narrative

Makes sense tbh

The narrative would be different if he wasn’t needed to keep Fianna Gael and Good for F’ail in power.

It doesn’t.

Give me some headlines where the Greens are actually looking to recycle something we produce as opposed to decimating Rural life and the Agricultural industry.

I’d love to hear Eamon championing new Industry whether it’s the upgrade of our Energy systems or manufacturing of actual waste we produce.

How about a proposal to actually ban single use plastics? Or tax companies unwilling to stop using it. Really go after them and stop them passing on costs to the consumer

Is culling the so called national herd and asking farmers to diversify destroying rural.life?

If you understood the complexities, yes

This will go the way of the fishing fleet. Give us €€€ to kill off a load of cows and them we’ll buy bigger cows. Never change Ireland.

It won’t happen….

The Greens are finished after this

I think rural farmers arent the base mate

Dublin alone isn’t Ireland

There are 70k farmers in Ireland. The media this week were against them so the narrative here will favour the greens

Regradless, no party will reverse these even if the Greens are finished, if anything though, Green voters will be angry this didnt do enough.

245k employed in the agricultural sector in Ireland mate. The greens are an upper middle class party that represent architects and solicitors who like a weekend jaunt down the country in their X series BMWs.

Who voted for the Greens? Who? Fuck all, and power hungry FG along with a desperate FF brought them to the table. Green voters me hole. They think milk comes from a plastic bottle. I’d love to hear their thoughts on the carbon footprint of almond milk.
For every 1 animal culled here there will be 4 bred in Brazil. For every acre of bog closed here there will be thousands of tonnes of timber cut down in Brazil to rear cattle.
That’s Green alright mate.

I’d love to hear Green Party thoughts on actual self sufficiency.

Just to confirm, we buy millions of tonnes of animal feed from brazil to feed our cows so we hsve a dreadful system here at the moment.

People will eat less beef and drink less milk in the comingg years . The drop off in meat consumption has already begun

That needs to be addressed without doubt.

Why are we offloading tonnes of recyclable material everyday?

Eamon bent over and took it mate, like he always does.

You need to leave @TheUlteriorMotive out of this

I’m upgrading my insulation and have bought a heat pump tumble dryer and am looking at a Van Moof S5.

We all need to do our part.
