My bad, that should read 20 acres. He only did the headlands of the bottom two fields. Leaving the rest for hay.

The farmers are bullying you something awful lately :man_shrugging:

Not just the farmers. :upside_down_face:

He’s the man with the plan.
We wound up with 219 from 15.5. Grand, but it only confirms that my oul lad knows everything about growing grass, and certainly wont be listening to his upstart son anytime soon

What are contractors charging to make a bale these days?

I don’t even know how one could make over 200 round bales from 15 acres :exploding_head:

Plenty of 18/6/12

Easily done with a Class 46

Not so easy with a McHale Fusion

I dread to think…find out in a few days

Was thinking along those lines. Look to be brutes, two mchales on the go

This has discombobulated me somewhat. One mchale baler/wrapper and one mchale baler with a separate mchale wrapper? I don’t think thwyd short-change the oul lad. It looked a very heavy crop.

This is the time of year for heavy crops, be the finest. The balers would be near or totally identical. Seperate wrapper is old had now but still works fine

Lovely field of Spring Barley
