What was the old price? Good value when you aren’t putting much in in terms of food etc I’d have thought?

I appreciate that you’re talking to @KinvarasPassion , and that I’m but a mere ignoramus. But… The oul lad was getting £30 for fat lambs in the late 70s. They were making a little less when he quit them, about 35 years later

lambs were sold for 80-90 euro and less in 2015

They were like lambs to the slaughter. The poor crayturs.

Butchers must have made a killing back then.

I’d say they’d have to be making killings regularly.

That was a tap in really but nice one.

Lads, I’m looking to purchase a couple of turf slanes. Any ideas where I can find some? @KinvarasPassion @Faldo @Ambrose_McNulty @glenshane

And there’s this place. I think they do actually have shades for sale…but they’re closed atm

Maybe @TheBlackSpot knows?

I have a notion that selling shades was abolished more than a hundred years ago, pal.

But to the slean. I haven’t seen one in many years. I haven’t been in the bog for 30 years thank fuck. Sure they mostly use machines now do they not?
