The Official TFK Father's Issues Thread. I don't know how they do it

One of the most important life skills any kid will learn is how to deal with scumbags from a young age. @KinvarasPassion wouldnā€™t be the man he is today if the didnā€™t trade belts with Dan Dan and Bomb Donovan in GCS.

Iā€™d agree and disagree with that pal from my own experience.

The right balance you want is one which wonā€™t hinder their exam results. Where I went to secondary school only 9 lads went to 3rd level out of 140 who started in 1st year.

Those odds arenā€™t good. More then double that have served time since and in some cases life.

Yes I will. I may well be a pretentious cunt but I work in irish and speak irish to her about 60% of the time. Iā€™d like her to realise that itā€™s not just her da that speaks irish.

Well in that case I donā€™t know anyone like you. Sounds like the perfect candidate for it. The people I know couldnā€™t string two words together.

Go for it mate. The two of ye can be superior together.

How much logistical bollox should I be prepared to put up with if itā€™s something Iā€™m into? Iā€™m committing to drops 80% of the time. I had to push hard for this school and bizarrely, now that it looks on, Iā€™m getting cold feet.

St helens porto and scoil an duinninigh in kinsealy. Any experience of it @Mullach_Ide?

You didā€™nt say that 2 minutes ago pal.

Gas man.

Very easy sing the Republican songs from the bar stool in Fingal, you fucking fraud.

Thatā€™s my chief source of doubt. And the thoughts of having to drive to freaky fingal for birthday parties or suchlike.

if your fluent they will be fluent

although id have considered sending mine to the gaelscoil but its impossible to get in

Iā€™d prefer my kids not to mix with the working class was his original post.

Iā€™d go Porto. Iā€™m a more balanced person than you and I think thatā€™s reflective of our primary schooling.

Where is it in Kinsealy? Sounds like a lot of hassle. Is there a bus from Porto?

you didnt say that 2 minutes ago

Other than knowing itā€™s hard to get a kid in there, interviews etc which Iā€™m guessing you had to do.
Has a good reputation from what Iā€™ve heard.

You didnā€™t, you said you wouldnā€™t want your kids mixing with the working class.

Thatā€™s a big statement for a Ra-Stooler thatā€™s what I found amusing.

If itā€™s your opinion own it, youā€™re well entitled to think what ever you want.

You are in your hole well balanced. Anyone who has played football with knows you can only turn one way. If you miss your angle you have to do a full 360 to get back again.

There is a bus from porto but Mrs j isnā€™t keen on her going on it straight away so itā€™ll be drops over for the first month or 2. Bus home then and picked up off the bus by the creche. Main hassle will b ĆØ mornings but we are changing our work model and this should suit it.

it was a quip that i decided wasnt funny mate
