Why donât you let him into the cot and lie down on the floor next to it so he knows you are there? In the worst case you will fall asleep.
I hope not. My two year girl is already nuts, I couldnât imagine her being worse
thats what I had to do last night, might get 10/15 mins out of him then howling againâŚI get one shot at sleep myself, once awoken thats it. a curse!
Serious tantrums. Fake crying gone through the roof. Constant threats to âput daddy in the binâ
She said the other night when she was trying to get her doll âdaddy move the fucking couch will youâ
she must have heard that from her mother!
I went through a phase of lying on our bed beside our fella letting him fall asleep and then moving him when he did. Or else putting him down in the cot and leaving his door wide open with a light on outside and when he went asleep closing it over. Only other thing is to talk to them from outside the room but not let them see you. Sometimes the voice can help. If all that fails do what balbec suggests. Resorted to that 1 night too. Youâd try anything to avoid missing a nights sleep, especially during the week
Sleeping on the floor is great.
did ye get an anitbiotic for him?
Yip, just ask Sidney âŚ
Nope. Itâs viral so nothing you can do except let it run its course. Completely harmless. He ended up with a mouth full of mouth ulcers from it too. We had to resort to neurofen and paracetamol suppositories as he wouldnât take anything into his mouth
jaysus nasty one
It was hellish but sure give it another week and Iâll have forgotten how bad it was.
Every kid is different what works on one mighnt on the other all ye can do is your best, school is great for them though
Is there any school open right now might take them for a few hours?
Baby sitting a two month old and a 18 month old. I got the 18 month old, two shits in an hour, not fucking cool.
Eat less fibre.
Iâll pass that onto him, pal.
Wait until you have a kid yourself, that doesnât shit for three days. The appearance of that log will be like winning the lottery.
Coaxing shit out?
Anyone here a step dad or adoptive dad or even fostered kids?
