Barbed wire around the top of it
Congratulations @mac delighted to hear your news. I only have the one so Iād imagine the best advice is just to drink twice as much, but youāre probably already doing that.
if he doesnt want to sleep in it just safety proof the rest of the room as best you can, and put a gate at the door so he is contained. He will sleep on the floor a few nights just pop him in the bed when he dozes off. novelty will wear off.
Cot is finished. Bed with one of those safety rails on the side and put a stair gate across the door.
I was posting about this about 3/4 months ago. The bad news is, weāre still fighting him every night in the middle of the night. Myself and Mrs j take it in turns to use the spare room so one of us gets some sleep. I left the gaff at half six this morning and the little bollox was asleep in my bed.
Weād let them in, but as soon as they went to sleep, back to their own bed. Whatever happened, they always woke up in their own bed. Worked well. Too late for you you poor fucker.
Leg Irons are better, if you can get them. I think there is a shop on Capel Street that stocks them.
Wellies! Did you put the cot by the back door?
Wellies and winter socks and she fast asleep and sweating away. Sheās 8 now so not in a cot.
Maybe you should stop fighting with him every night and just let the poor little bollix go to sleep.
Itās the other way round fizzy. Heās bouncing of the walls for at least an hour every night
Bounce him off a wall good and propa. Thatāll learn him. Worked well for us.
My ten month old has been sick as a small hospital since he started creche, usually a great sleeper but the bug has put him off solids so waking during the night hungry. He got me up at 5am, calpol fix administered, heated bottle, fed him, he puked it back up all over me, we were both back in bed within 20 minutes. Love auto pilot. Paying the creche is a sickener though, heās barely been in it cos heās always sick yet weāre paying full whack. Iām convinced they fill the place with the most contagious viruses going so that loads of kids are off sick.
I suppose she needs them if she is going off in the middle of the night sleepwalking.
Be prepared
Still fighting. Toughest time of my life. Itās an awful thing. Awful.
Particularly when your job tries to sack you a second time. Cunts.
Good luck with this mate. Stay strong and keep off the chemicals.
Iām up to 100 pushups a dayā¦ Mentally I am unbreakable. I had 1000mcg LSD the weekend before last to ensure that.
Are you lawyered up pal? You need to be. And stay off the Persian rugs, youāll need a clear mind for the battle ahead.
Nothing cleanses the mind like LSD.
