Great advise mate
Wonderful day at Limericks Bualadh Bos festival just rounded off with a fantastic childrenās gig by Kila in the Lime Tree theatre, the day was slightly spoiled by that annoying childless and probable Jaffa @Nembo_Kid pestering me about mediocre soccer players while we were queuing for the book doctor and listening to a witch telling stories but I was able to shake off the annoyance and continue on.
If you ever get the chance to bring the kids to one of those Kila āSong of the Seaā gigs donāt pass it up, brilliant entertainment, we had a nice chat with Ronan O Snodaigh afterwards as my oldest two are learning instruments and he was very kind and encouraging to them.
Attention Cork based dads, Ballincollig has an excellent playground out by the Gunpowder area. BBall courts with football goals. Football pitches off the way, walk ways, skate park, playground and great coffee from a vendor.
Tongue tied babies, talk to me guys.
How badly tongue tied? Our 2 year old is tongue tied and not a bother on him. Was bottle fed. Some consultant in Crumlin had a luck and said weād be mad to snip it.
yes, get professional advice is the way to go
No bother Harry. Theyāll snip the tongue tie and a bit of speech therapy will see the little chap right.
We got it done today as the Public Health Nurse who visited said it was bad enough. Child wonāt settle now.
Most others we spoke to said it improved feeding 10 fold but Iām starting to wonder should we have bothered.
Nice avatar, pal.
Too late now but it will work out. The child has to eat and will eat. Tough it out for the next bit
Nice avatar mate
right back at you mate
no harm in getting it done
Weāll discuss this further in The Night Watchman thread.
lolz
get used to it mate
Sheāll come through it, just remember no matter how bad it is, sheāll eventually find sleep. As one of the lads said, just a case of you toughing it out.
We tried out the tongue tie on a 4 year old before. Never looked back. He won a hot 2m maiden in cork on heavy ground. Overall Iād recommend it if the trainer thins itāll help him.
We got it done for the second lad. Improved his feeding a huge amount. And heās less likely to turn into paschal fucking Donoghue. Either way in a few days itāll be grand. Make sure you do the physio to stop it reattaching.
Having not checked into this thread for weeks, I have only just been made aware of my friend @carryharry 's great news, congratulations pal, welcome to the club, I didnāt even know you were pregnant.
@PoisonousMisanthrope sorry for your trouble pal, sounds like a terrible situation, but you strike me as being incredibly determined. Stay strong pal.
