It does, but its a cunt of a mess, and turned our fella off baths for about a month after. But the positives outweigh the negatives with regards to it.
Itâs probably just the drink talking, Mike.
What can you do, other than make sure she knows she is loved, and that youâll back her up, no matter what?
My godmother is the most secure and self confident person I ever met. I asked her, when I was a young and desperately insecure teenager, how did she manage to be like that. She thought on it, and said that it was because she knew growing up, that whatever happened, her parents would have her back. That is what I say to mine over and over, that whatever happens, no matter what, if they come to us and tell us the truth, we will have their back.
My reading of that Mike, would be that she may be a little nervous, but that she has the courage to face it down, and go out anyway. Iâd take it, as thereâll soon enough be a phase where she wonât want to be seen dead with you.
Mine already says Iâm the most embarrassing dad in the school, and that I dress like a weirdo. I went to pick her up from cubs in my pyjamas the other night just to wind her up.
Kids are the best thing ever by a mile.
I think.its great that your daughter still says that.
Not enough teeth left to fix.
I meant the water, and the crack of applying it, and cleaning of the bath after. Its a miserable experience, but again, as I said, its effective.
Yea I did that this morning. I always take a few days off to watch the golf. I dropped her off in the pjâs. I got the âseriously Dad?â look when we were heading out the door.
Then I got the "Donât drop me off at the front gate"speech. Still got the hug and kiss though
Have ye considered not being so embarrassing to yer daughters?
Myself and @Fran are cool fathers.

Was your willy sticking out of the flap at the front of the pyjamas?
It must be desperate for a kid to have a cool, trendy or zany parent.
