My second got a dose of the chickenpox you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. We were heading to Dingle a couple of days after they broke out on her, carried on regardless but she was painted white for the week.
The oatmeal in a sock works a treat for a bit of relief.
It was also her second time getting chickenpox.

The first dose was very small but most definitely chickenpox, her sister had it then as well. We were obviously surprised when she got it again, not as uncommon as you’d think.

Sorry mate, it may be terribly rare but the doctors at the time assured us it wasn’t unique.
She had the worst case of chickenpox I’ve ever seen. Perhaps shingles but she wasn’t even 5.
