Lads. The young lady wants an iPad from Santa. She’s six. What do six year olds do on iPads?is it games or basically just aNother conduit for you tube. What should I be looking for here? A general tablet or what?

Have a similar dilemma here and not convinced about getting it. If you do go that route the Amazon fire or the Kurio are both decent options. The parental control look decent… For example you can force them do an educational task before allowing them to play a game. You can also set timers and content filters.

I know the feeling. The bike was a savage winner a couple of years ago and was only ditched when she got roller skates for her birthday this year(it’s too small now anyway) . Four other girls from the road got them since and it’s savage watching them out having the craic as opposed to looking for TV or you tube. But she’s getting some heat on the iPad front I think which would break your heart. Genuinely don’t want to get her one but Mrs J is bending big time. In fairness, she’s the one who heard other kids asking her about it…

Kids have about 5 or 6 Christmases where they properly believe. You need to make those Christmases as magical as is possible. Get her the iPad and fuck the snow flakes.

He outsources it to China. Been a lot of layoffs in Lapland the last few years with increased automation. Santa using drones for a lot of his deliveries these days as well.
