Main thing is do what works best for you and baby. People will either hack breastfeeding or they wonât. Important thing is baby keeps growing etc

Ah yeah - I get that ⌠just the few lads thinking they are winning because they have gotten away with feeding - hilarious mindset â real 1970s caveman type stuff youâd expect @mickee321 to throw out to get a rise.
Youâd do a fair bit of it with mastitis alright.
Who would have thought 10 years ago that a thread like this would have gained the traction it did. Back then the emphasis was on ball-hops, coursing and boozing.
Now itâs breastfeeding, craft beer and the cost of tarmacadam. Still enjoyable mind.

@Phil_Leotardo - our youngest had awful problems while both on the breast and with formula. Gaviscon and Gripe Water were no use as heâd throw them back up. What did work was fennel tea (seriously). Make a bottle of it in the morning and keep it for the day in the fridge. Immediately before a feed, and immediately after a feed give the baby a few ml of it in one of the calpol syringes and it does fucking wonders in bringing wind up. Clearing out wind beforehand apparently means thereâs less irritation when it goes down and lessens the likelihood of it coming back up.
I genuinely laughed when @caoimhaoin talked about this stuff on here and used to chuckle to myself in the early days of using it but it was genuinely game changing.
