We got a book on how to deal with babies before Rascal arrived. Against my instincts I read it and it saved us a lot of hassle. One of the best bits of advice was never let the baby sleep in your arms. Put them in their cot, if they cry, pick them up but put them back again. Luckily we had no colic issues with him so Iām not judging the bad parenting that seems widespread on here.

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy once posted many years ago that colic was just an excuse for bad parenting. I wonder if heād be as brave to say it again now.

She has this yoke called a haka (nothing to do with NZ rugby wankers)
Anyway when feeding, she puts this haka yoke on the other tit that baby isnāt feeding off and milk just drips into it. It isnāt a pump at all. A mad contraption. Weāve a growing supply of tit milk taking over our freezer. Amazing scenes. Im very hopeful this will be our saviour now

Having typed this I then opened up Instagram to be met with ads for the Haka and Baby Massage courses in Cork. #beingwatched
OJust brought back a memory of when we were first time parents who hadnāt a clue what we were doing and changed nappies together(me holding up the legs etc)
I donāt even recall why but there was a period where Iād sit on the couch in the middle of the night and let the baby sleep upright on my chest,
I watched the entire 1986 World Series on DVD over a period of s few weeks in that position, Christ we hadnāt a clue
