Getting to spend two weeks pretty much uninterrupted with my young fella has been great for both of us.
Every morning he woke up asking was it still Christmas and would we be at home that day.

Was he disappointed the game of cards didnât go ahead in the pub yesterday?
Not really, he was tired out after the trip to the playground, the cycle around the park and dinner in the bar where he did lots of colouring.
Does anyone know what the paternal leave entitlement is for dads, I thought it was to go to up from 2 weeks to 4 weeks from November 2019.
It is if kid is born November 2019 onwards I think
from November 1st 2019.
Croppy Junior the Second was born on October 24. Very inconsiderate of him.
Seems theyâve increased parental (as opposed to paternal which is paid leave) by an extra two weeks.
Signing in for the first time. Incredible feeling becoming a father to a baby girl. It was a traumatic birth for the baby and mother but both doing fine now. Baby was whisked away to neonatal upon arrival so havenât had a proper chance to hold her yet. Named her after hearing about an old Irish tale of a mermaid who was converted into a woman by a saint. Good strong Irish name. Cant say enough about the frontline staff. Amazing people. Midwife filled the roles of doctor, nurse, physiologist, motivator etc etc all in one. Shattered after a rollercoaster 24 hours but looking forward to the years days , months and years ahead.
Congrats pal⌠Enjoy it all, amazing feeling.
Congrats Johnny welcome to the club.

Well done kid
Congratulations @johnnysachs. Little girls are wonderful. And fair play to Ginny Sack for finally losing a few pounds.
Congrats Johnny. Some day in the future youâll be required to build a dolls house for Christmas. Donât leave it til Christmas Eve. Youâll be grand.
Oh and front to back, never back to front.
