None of youā€™re hopping around will change the fact Rory failed pal.

We let a medal slip there. Is Kellie Harrington our last medal prospect?

Rhys needs to declare for Team GB for 2024. Ireland is not cut out to win gymnastics medals.

Anyway this was only menā€™s gymnastics, which is far less prestigious than womenā€™s gymnastics.

Would he have been allowed in the final? Heā€™d have been behind Whitlock?

Did that fella on the pommel horse make a fuck of it? RTƉ blew so much smoke up his arse this morning itā€™s a wonder he didnā€™t float out of the gymnastics hall. Which would have been a neat trick, but maybe not conducive to a high technique score.

Iā€™ve furiously Googled that and the answer is yes, yes he would. A maximum of two participants from each country can participate in individual apparatus finals.

This is the case for the all around also and itā€™s a rule which irks me a lot.

A great interview with Rhys there. A must watch for any young aspiring sports person whoā€™s had disappointment. Mature beyond his years.

Olympic interviews are great. Competitors bare their hearts. Compare that to inter county GAA players and their ah shures and I supposes. There hasnā€™t been a post match GAA interview of interest for decades, if ever.

And if an inter county player does do an interview for any outlet during the championship theyā€™re immediately accused of having a God complex. The begrudgery is strong, and itā€™s why GAA players are the dullest of players in all sports, even modern day rugby.

Familiarity breeds contempt on all sides. The Olympians work away quietly for their shot every 4 years and we only really get these kind of interview every 4 years whereas the GAA player has to deal with it more often.
