I think that’s too quick for Barr. And is.
Misses out by 0.3 of a second. The clipped hurdle could well have been the difference.
Second fastest time of his career even so. Can’t ask much more than that.

Looks like Barr finished quicker that the runner up in the last heat, tied with the winner.
Tough rule. He’s joint 7th quickest in the semis but doesn’t make the final.

So much for Trayvon Bromell as the successor to Usain Bolt. A time of 10.00 would have for him into the final. Dismal for someone with a personal best of 9.77.
