My gym membership cost has increased by 20%, if my mathematics are correct (€30 to €36 per month). It’s pretty good value though - I was in the gym twice last year. Two successive days last summer to use the shower facilities when we had a plumbing issue.
What had you on there? 160 plus the bar?
I’m going in tomorrow and I’m gonna ate two kettlebells…

Mrs Mac and myself gave this a whirl today. As I believe @Juhniallio did too. The lads have stumbled across some money spinner. Waves of people off every 10 mins over 3 days of the weekend. All ages, sizes and levels of fitness catered for. None of the pretentiousness that seems to come with Hyrox.
It’s a fancy dressed up circuit training that mugs like us have paid a silly amount of money to do. A grand workout and a nice thing to fill a gap in training blocks. A nice community feel to it too.

I had a look at it. More achievable for most folk than hurox alright. Who wants to do 100 wall balls or 100 Burpees ffs

Hybrid Rockstars do!
Would know a good few locals who are Hyrox and Crossfit mad. They turned their nose up at it when the first one was last year. They were all there this weekend though. They introduced some inter-gym competition element which means all the affiliate gyms are incentivised to have as many entries and get as many wins as possible for points.
Similar to when people would have laughed at yer man selling salads for 15 quid, he’s struck gold with this.

He’s changed it to make it a fair bit easier alright. He’s also gone for a much more family/less elite type. Fair play to him. Place was hopping yesterday. Tenner for parking…7 quid for spectators… mental really
