The Pretend Fitness 2 - the Turkish Get Up Thread

:blush::blush::clap:right

Course they have if they don’t pay any entrance fee into my gym
UCC mardyke

So that kinda backfired ol stock

I’ve never tried kettle bells etc
Did a lot of loose weights when v much younger
Use the weight machines alright
Arms, legs, shoulders,
Stomach
But the heaviest dumbbell I use is 7 kg( only one I use)
Lotsss of reps though

Mardyke gym is free to Ukrainians?
Do they park their untaxed uninsured brand new Mercs in the wheelchair spaces outside?

They mix a bit of cardio into the sessions but ideally you’d be doing more cardio on other days. Below is the heart rate over the 57 mins that today’s session took. A few trips into the higher heart rates but only for short bursts.

I find them more use for cardio.

Hard beat 5-6 reps heavy, then a decent break then repeat, up and up until you reach your max for strength

They often just leave the mercs sitting there because they can just hop on the bus home and the department of social protection will send them out a new merc.

Decent enough tbf👏sound’s balanced.

I hit the 150 plus as much as possible
But generally it’s around 140 -147
One hour 15 m - 2 hours
At 7.4 to 7.6
At a 15 degrees angle,
Sometimes shorter- but minimum burn 1150 calories
Treadmill.
Then 25 m on the various machines

Not the fastest by far ,
But I get a savage sweat
And last longest on the treadmill .
99 percent stubbornness

That’s savage. My ankles would fall apart under that workload

So far so good
Think it helps that I walk a fair bit and use the leg machine ( can’t think of the name)
I push the legs forward whilst sitting up)
Lots of reps
And the hiking has to help,
Also dropped a few stone and belt sizes so that must help

I thought the same and struggled for about 2 months

Air bike… the one with the power handles.

Serious for a hiit session. I’ve started doing a few minutes after kettlebells… legs wobbling after it.

Very soft on joints obviously

Yep, a great workout. We do the odd 3-5 minute burst on it.

I was introduced to the Bulgarian split squats this morning @Kyle @KinvarasPassion

A great exercise for hitting multiple parts of the body and going easy on the back
