Close enough to it, mate. I set the clock from there after my brief warm up jog. Why do you ask?

why don’t you get a room , you can do it the next time you are in Limerick signing on after signing on in Cork

Just one Ringsend skanger to another pal

Cheers pal. Twas my first ever road race and will definitely do more halves. Would plan on knocking off time for sure now that I know the lay of the land. A few beers in town, a great feed in Aroi, a fabulous fireworks display and home now. Limerick - truly a lady

Gym session today and game of ball tonight… i’m fairly tired it has to be said…there was a time I could do both … but I was on empty for the last ten minutes of footy.

Time to invest in steroids.

My first attempt at a timetrail on the bike tonight at club event. Came in third. Was ranked about 7th of 16 heading out so I was the surprise package of the night.
24k in under 43 mins.

Decent enough. What kind of gears did you use?

Don’t have a TT bike. In fact, my bike is aluminium not carbon. 105 group set, 50-34

You’d spin a 50 fairly handlily. I have a 53 X 39 on mine, used 52 X 42’s for years.

Sure I haven’t much of a clue about this kinda stuff. Just drive the fucking thing. Most of the boys had slick carbon bikes out and were expecting to make hay tonight

I went for a 5km run a little while ago because I felt guilty after snubbing darkness into light this morning. I fully emptied the tank in the last 200m - it would have translated to 3:37 per km. That’s 200m in 43 seconds pace. It’s incredible how quickly you can go when you lose your inhibitions and really open your legs.

I fully agree. Just express yourself out there. Empty the fucker. Have no regrets

Had a great cycle today. Cycled from baldoyle to laytown, a couple of good swimming spots between portmarnknock and malahide.

Its called lower howth mate but cracking cycle

A challenging 6k run tonight. Different route than I usually use.I hit the Base of the incline home just on the last kilometer. As I did Adagio for strings came on the headphones. I romped home the last Km in 3.58.

What version of adagio for strings do you listen to, pal? I’m trying to find a balance between an orchestra version and a shitty remix by Paul Oakenfold or someone.

Great workout today out doors…was going down to Garryduff pitch but the bastards had it all locked up so headed towards a wooded area near by and came across one of these barriers…

Did single leg lunges off it, hop overs, clap push-ups, step ups and and speed step ups… Then I noticed an old large one of these off in the trees and on its side and I was able to do pullups off…

There was a a sharp slant across the way then up into the trees, about 30 yards in total at about 60℅ gradient that I was able to do hill sprints on.

Who needs a gym…the folks out walking their dogs only gave the odd strange look.
