I’m doing weights on my balcony now, pal. Speaking of guns, I’m working hard because I want to display mine in France at the Euros. I plan on going topless on the Sunday before our first game.
Will you be in Bordeaux?
Wednesday is my designated day off!
I was out on Monday as well but took a spin up Bath Avenue as part of it
I use wireless earphones, you dumb Cork cunt. I was still listening to my running tunes via Bluetooth when I took the screenshot. You hardly think a dealmaker like myself would be dealing with cables, pal.
That was totally OTT and uncalled for… I was merely telling you to ensure that your bluetooth was off as it kills your battery.
That’s a very good run @Bandage. To answer your question, yes i have been out (twice) since that ill-fated run i spoke of a few days ago where i had a sore right hip after it. I did the exact same route i always do and on my first run after hurting my hip (25.40) i did an eerily similar 25.39. Quite incredible consistency you might say. But yeah oddly i have no ill effects or pain in any way in the right hip on my last two runs. Not sure what to put it down to. This evening i did an embarrassing 26.20, i just couldn’t get myself up for it.
Is that new watch giving you increased vigour?
It’s great for pacing yourself, that’s the main thing i can see with it. I know where i stand at every point in relation to what i want that end time to be. Before i was only plodding around and checked the time only at the end.
That route looks like a gloved-hand pointing west. Could be a sign?
With a tiny bit of application you could be Olympic standard. Someone with as much go as yourself. You’d be great at anything you turned your hands to
Easy on a nice flat course.
Where’s the hills and constant rain? Well? Well?
Kudos on the improvement. Doing the North West 10k on Sunday but not expecting a decent time. Aiming for a 5k in 3 weeks to see some improvement.
Good luck on Sunday, mate.
@Bandage if you opened up your legs and expressed yourself you could break the 24 minute barrier. Just let yourself go and empty the fucker
He’s right tho, pal… you should introduce the odd hill if you can.
First half marathon down. Didn’t manage to go anywhere near @ChocolateMice’s times but did a respectable 1hr, 46, 5.02/km.
PS Chocco I beat the other two gimps by about 5/6 minutes
Time for pints in Lovely Limerick. Thanks to this fine thread for its support in getting me to run around for a while
Well done fella, that’s a more than respectable time, you deserve those pints
Well done, great time for the 1st one. Breaking 1:45 or even 1:40 is the next goal.
Great stuuf, kid…well done.
