Not that its the absolute barometer, but that should mean all things being even you don’t have to go too low. A 25 KG plate in theory should be enough, unless you have ridiculously tight hammys. Its all about a flat neutral back, all the time.
Initial engagement and set up is critical. Pulling shoulder blades together and having tension (a mini-pull) before you pull is critical.

Would you not get a proper bike … Does your company offer bike to work? If so you’d pick up a decent bike for around that money … Hitting the outdoors is better than cycling an exercise bike in front of your tv, pal.
Can you get bikes that hook up to the TV and give you an interactive , computer game type experience. Where you can cycle a stage of the tour De France or something ? If you can’t then I’m going inventing it.
