Asics GT2000. I’ve been using them for a few years but was recommended to upgrade to the kayano. However they didn’t suit me at all, and Siobhan at Limerick Sport Store (if you want to buy running shoes, buy them from someone who has actually ran) said no way to them for me. I’m a slight over pronator so the GT2000 suits me fine. 20% off to so got them for €112 as opposed to the €180 I walked in with to pay form Kayanos
I’d say I’d get fucked out of Limerick Sports Store, I’m the bane of your man’s life in the astro league, (he’s a ref)

Ha! I didn’t realise that he was a ref. Great shop if you can navigate yourself around it.
He’s a fucking terrible ref, talks to us like we’re 12 year olds, drives me bananas. I like the shop alright though.

I’m starting to think did he ref a few games I played actually. I was asked to play in an Astro league about seven years ago. Now, I’m a shit footballer and I was pretty unfit back then. I turn up for the first match only knowing one of my teammates. 2 minutes to kick off, and there’s me and two other lads there. Game kicks off with us a player short and me trying to organise them. Lost first match 22-0. The second match was 24-1; I got the only goal which shows you how bad this lot were. They got a decent keeper in (we were actually rotating keeper amongst us) and a few decent players and had a plucky 9-7 defeat. They’d no interest in training or tactics, just a bunch of lads playing as part of their work sports and social

Was up at 7.30 this morning and went for hour & half cycle followed by a 30 minute swim. Just back there a while ago from a walk with the misses,we took the dogs up the dunes in bettystown. I feel great. Having a few well deserved beers now watching the rugby. Will be back out on the rothar amarach.
