Just under 86 mins for the BC 10. Head wind out but pushing us up the hill for a finish. Happy enough with that time. Not my best but not far off.

Under 1:48. Delighted. Got into a scrap with a fat fucker between 7 and 10. The cunt wouldn’t give in. Does that ever happen to you? I was fumbling for jelly babies and caffeine tablets in my bum bag and the prick would be there again passing me. I mullered him on a hill at 9.5 and that was the last I saw of him. Cruised in the last 3 mile at 8:25. First time finishing a race with out grimacing for the photo. Full one now next Saturday

What were the conditions like
Signed up for my first marathon this year. Dublin marathon.
Have only done one half marathon, more planned this year, so far and did it in just under 1hr58m (apologies for putting up such a time on such a thread) in Clontarf late last yr. Only started to run with any regularity from Sept 2016, so was happy to even finish it.
Any guidance/tips on marathon running would be greatly appreciated
