he’s still off the pitch i presume with a program like that, clearly taking care of the knee.
have gone on hal higdon and printed off the workouts. The novice one seems fairly easy to be honest. If you cant run 2 miles its all the same.
Ive gone for the intermediate one. the race isnt until 14 August - maybe I should leave the training programme for another couple of weeks and concentrate more on core, strength with a couple of runs thrown in until the 10 week mark?
I was mistaken about the hill too. It is at the 6km mark roughly. For those of you that know Sydney it starts at Rose Bay and heads up to Vacluse. 80m climb in 2km which will be a toughie alright. But then all downhill pretty much to Bondi Beach.

Legs felt strong after day off yesterday.
More savage running
Mate you’re wasted jaunting around by yourself for the craic
I’m strongly developing the opinion that you have the potential to become a very good runner.
If you joined a club I reckon you’d be murdering your current times in a few months.
RTT is very big into the parkour
Meyler is doing no running in that, Rocko. All he seems to do is cycling, rowing and cross trainer…
If you are looking at Parkour videos Dunph, Damien Walters is class.
Here is one of his vids:
That’s class Rintintin. It’s amazing what these fellas can do, you’d imagine one wrong move or mistimed jump and it could be curtains for them…
10 miles tonight in 70mins 23 secs or 7.02/mile. Splits as follows:
mile 1 - 7.31
mile 2 - 7.04
mile 3 - 7.04
mile 4 - 6.51
mile 5 - 6.49
mile 6 - 6.53
mile 7 - 7.00
mile 8 - 7.14
mile 9 - 6.59
mile 10 - 6.54
Im taking a rest day following 10 mile runs. I would always do a warm down of about a mile at a crawl after stretching.
I could lower times alright if i joined a club, but to be honest WB im happy out tipping away. I’ll probably do some of the pheonix park series during the summer as a couple of lads from work will be doing it.
Savage FP
You’ll be under 70 in no time.
Haven’t ran in nearly 3 weeks. Baby on the way in a few weeks so preperations for that are taking priority.

congrats KP
any chance you 2 pillow munchers might send PMs to each other from now on?
Did you ever break a sweat TASE?
yes- i swim from high rock to lambay & back before work every morning but i dont come on here & boast about it
TASE,
The thread title is ‘fitness’. As such, this is where posters recount tales of fitness and offer and receive advice about said subject. In much the same way that the lads on the ravenous thread recount tales of food, and the lads of the sport of kings thread recount tales of punting.
We are not boasting as you put it. You dont see me going on the Roma thread, telling yourself, Mr. Totti and Bandage etc to Pm each other when recounting a victory for the galliorossi.
Due to be very despondent over our football performance last weekend I didn’t do a tap all week. Back in the groove with a do or die, winner takes all, 6 pointer, dog fight, relegation shoot off tomorrow in the soccer. A win and we should stay up, a loss and we’re probably relegated.
