Did a 6km run at lunchtime.
Bucketing sweat by the end if it.
Time to get my trusty headband out again.
Sweat in the eyes in no fun at all.
it would sting the eyes out of your head
No any high protein drink I can get
Pre long-ish run (90-120 mins) meal suggestions @caoimhaoin @Tassotti @anon61956325
I’m finally getting miles back up again. Did 15km of forest roads after work the other day and had my dinner in middle of day and a few fig rolls before I went out and felt good.
However, that won’t do the job for my morning jogs. My trusty porridge has had my stomach a little off on morning runs (no pun intended)
Eggs?
Most professional footballers swear by Coco Pops
A healthy granola - fruit - high protein yogurt
Or pan cakes with fruit / honey
Porridge or some other slow release carbs. The last thing you want us protein
Usually went with porridge but I’ve had a few cases of needing to jump behind a tree …#leavenotrace
Toast or bagel then
2 slices of wholemeal toast, 3 rashers and a fried egg.
No more, no less.
That’s offal .
Just a simple mix .
Carb loading has pretty much been debunked.
And the good news is white potatoes are good for us again😂
Seriously though it’s about what works for you in terms of time.
If running at night I would say dinner in middle of the day I ideal. Would be for me anyway.
Eating after still important.
But the absolute ideal diet is all 3 macronutrients at all meals. So protein in morning and carbs at night
He had a fanny op to tighten it back up again.
He pulled the stomach out of himself.
My back is broke, pal. Flared up again first week of January and has taken a lot longer than normal to heal than usual. I’ll be good as new by the end of the week please god.
Santa is some bollox.
That’s a poorly penned article…like something put through Google translate from the authors own language to English…
