The Pretend Fitness Thread

I’d often recite or read some poetry before I would eat. It’s good to fill up the heart and feed the soul before nourishing the body.

Well done @locke, @Tassotti, @backinatracksuit and @fenwaypark. Savage atmosphere around the place. Got to the Phoenix Park and Milltown to roar a few people on.

Typical @Mac making it all about him.

Thanks @Mac. Bate out now. 4:43 time wise. Was crawling at one stage. Head wreaking distance after 35km. Done now though. Some atmosphere and some support.

Thank you
My God what an experience, the ordinary people ofDublin are the real stars, incredible support, unbelievable.
Was on course for 3:30 till about 20 miles, started flagging a bit then and my knees gave up on me, had to grit the teeth and walk a bit for the last few miles, agony/torture, body crying out to stop, it’s a formidable distance, respect to all who’ve ever done it
3:48 for a finish, it’ll stand to me, gives me a target to best anyway, I ate half my body weight in jellies, couldn’t stop
