Are you still in Cork? Call into the Edge at the Kinsale road roundabout and they’ll fit you, you may need support or not so it’s pointless me recommending a shoe to you, get plenty of cushioning anyway to start out
I love Saucony myself, I wear guide 13 myself and Brooks Ravenna

Still in Cork yeah.

Sound for that. I’ll call in to them.

Done a nice little run there . Stayed in the boundaries of 2km and all

It’s not too difficult to stay inside the 2k but it’s bloody hard to keep going when you’re always so close to home, I’m running first thing in the morning as usual, don’t even need to use the footpaths,

Are you a serious runner,I remember you posted a good marathon or half time once but wasn’t sure if it was genuine?

Few guys I follow on Strava ran full marathons yesterday staying within the 2k boundary. Thought of it would drive me crazy.

Ya, I meant to do a long run yesterday because the missus was off but I came home after 16k, my tactic is usually to get as far away from home as possible so that I need to run home and get it over with as quick as I can

If you need a long run it should be fairly easy? Although repetitive… If I was at home and needed a long run there’s a 5 mile loop that meets the Irish government criteria

No, not really , I only go for short runs 5-10km these days but usually I’d try include sit ups press ups in that run . I loose to much muscle if I go for longer runs . My calf seems to be getting tight these days after a few km , it makes it very difficult. More into the gym now but sure they closed for the foreseeable future ,

I’m up to 61km jogged for March and hopefully one more to top it up to around the 70 mark. This doesn’t seem like much, but I’d very little done the last six to nine months so I’m just trying to tip back into it. I’m doing a lot of short runs which I never enjoyed doing before. I’ve been consistent too the past three weeks, doing around 15-17km per week.

I’ve seen a few chaps round here continue to cycle but staying with in the 2k radius and racking up 50/60km spins.

Wouldn’t fancy that for too long.

Might give it an hour some day alright but can’t see me doing more. Was setting up the turbo the other day and spent so fecking long trying to get the speed sensor working (it still isn’t) that my window of opportunity was gone

What are those turbo things? How do they work? I bought a serious bike there last year and use it for hanging clothes. Its looking we wont be allowed outside soon.

You connect it to your back wheel and it makes it a stationary bike so you can train indoors.

I haven’t a monkey’s. Are they dear.

Have you a balcony mate? You could always do this

You could probably pick em up for as little as 60/70 quid I’d say.

Did a 4km run this morning. Went for a walk with the kids this afternoon, pucked a few balls with young lad with my shite hurl and just did a Train Heroic session. Having been doing odd run and walk but today was the first time since this all started that I felt motivated to get back training a bit. Feel a Lot better for it. I’ll do an hour of work now and then Ozark.

Decent one here @tassotti but don’t buy from Halfords
