The Race for a Vaccine. The Road to Demaskus

Iā€™d assume it will be good to go by March?

I think the difference between the US and U.K. and Europe is that the US have so much Moderna on the way as well as Pfizer.

Even with hindsight the TFK ā€œexpertsā€ are getting it wrong.

I read an article that Pfizerā€™s output of the vaccine in 2021 is targeted to be around 3x that of Moderna?

Surely Moderna are already mass producing this?

I got it wrong about Limerick wiping the floor with the entire Hurling stratosphere, but am glad I came fully on board earlier in the year.

Limerickā€™s demolition of the hurling world has been good for the Covid threads. I can only imagine what the hurling threads are like but nice little distraction for them all the same. Iā€™d say theyā€™re awful giddy.

All the tans will have been vaccinated by then

Caught 5 minutes of Claire Byrne last night for my sins. Am I correct in saying whatever expert they had on said that we donā€™t know if the vaccines will prevent transmission. If they donā€™t what is the benefit of those not in a risk category getting the vaccine. Will the vast majority be getting a vaccine to get a less severe dose of the sniffles?

The Germans are loving the lock down. It brings back the memories of the two world wars they started.

Matthias in Munich has been told to put away the magnifying glass and hurry up ta fuck.

I presume nobody will be vaccinated here until early January. I wonder will they vaccinate a few auld wans on the late late maybe

Vut do you not see there is a typo on page 354?
How can we approve this if there is a typo?

The latest lockdowns in Germany and the Netherlands will have them desperate to get this going. You can at least rationalise locking down again for weeks and weeks if there is an end in sight.

Psychologically it would be a huge boost to everyone if vaccinations were to commence prior to the 1st of January. In real terms it wonā€™t make any difference other than give those whoā€™ve been mentally crushed by the virus a bit of hope heading into a new year.
