They need a covid 20 vaccine or we will be locked down for all of 2021
The main issue with the Covid vaccines is like all vaccines they work by stimulating your immune system to develop the antibodies and T-cells that fight off the infection. The problem for those that are most vulnerable (the elderly and already sick) is that their immune systems are compromised and either can’t develop those ABs/T cells or have an immune overreaction which overwhelms them.
The good news is the mRNA vaccines (Pfizer/Moderna) appear to be quite effective in preventing serious illness, so they may well work better than most flu vaccines.

Its several months old and there are about 1300 new strains at this stage.
The virus has obviously heard about the impending vaccination programme and has mutated to spread as quickly as possible before its suppressed.

You’ve got to love its belligerence.
The Wexford lads were boasting away about how few cases it had just two weeks ago. The virus didn’t like that. Boom.

Seems to be the way of things. They were boasting about the Sydney contact tracing system just last week and then bam.
