Pete was not a real mma fighter as his first and only outing proved (offscreen).

I can vaguely remember reading about McGregor there first

Chuck ya that’s
Him

So when will McRaper ā€œfind Godā€?

Will he wait a few weeks or a few months or a year?

Oh my God.

He’ll have to bottom out first

UFC was big for a good while in my secondary school days between the peak GSP era and then there was a brief decline till the now-cancelled Brock Lesnar turned up and got a very soft route to winning their Heavyweight title. McGregor, Pendred, Holohan and the rest where when it properly blew up here.

Tony?

One of the very few mma fights I’ve ever watched was Frank Mir tapping Lesnar out. That shit was funny.

Not sure lesner had a choice tapping out… Mir broke his arm in the process…

Randy Couture, Chuck, Spiderman Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, GSP…

A golden era of hard bastards rather than brilliant fighters. Tho Silva and GSP were class

Don’t forget Andre arlovski… a right hard bastard in the early days

Shamrock was another of the tough rather than good fighter category.

Couture was a proper hard nut. Ex militarily , high school wrestler i think. Fought till he was near 50 ish i think.

Yeah, like I said. Given all the hype over Lesnar at the time it was downnright hilarious.
