The Rapist Conor McGregor Club Sponsored By Fossett's šŸ

I would like to see Brendan Dassey ringside at the event this weekend. He has missed enough Wrestlemaniaā€™s over the last few years for a crime he didnā€™t commit so this would be the next best thing.

This should be goodā€¦ last time outConor was prepared for RDA not a lanky south paw like Diaz. Conor has been training with MW south paw boxers for this training camp. Not sure if he has the power or adjusted to the weight just yet.

May have just got lucky. That last preleration was dodgy enough anyway.

What time on Saturday my TFK brethren ?

Main event normally 5.30 AM our time

Is he still getting main event ? I thought he wouldnā€™t after all the shite that happened. UFC know what theyā€™re at so.

Heā€™s more then a bit.

Actually a reasonable interview. Interesting honesty on his last prep.

He made huge mistakes last time out

A mate of mine who trains in Jujitsu, was saying the fight will go the same albeit in later rounds the 3rd or 4th He reckons heā€™s too small a man in his opinion to knock out Diazā€¦and McGregor doesnā€™t have the ground game for him.

Was talking to another lad at a neighbors 4 year old party of all places whoā€™s an amateur MMA fighter and he was of the same opinion.

Diaz has too long a reach and is too big for himā€¦be a massive shock if he pulls it off, Iā€™d love if he did though.

If heā€™s at anything heā€™ll surely be fit enough for 25 mins.

His full camp this time at a lighter weight should see to that.

Its not that straight forward. Getting fot at 20 pounds heavier is very very hard. Unbelievably hard.

And i still think he will lose because of those disadvantages.

Edit: Just saw above post. Thats my thinking as well

The weight is the big issueā€¦ but he did fuck all conditioning the last time and focused a lot on movement - he has tried to correct that this time - but as you well know, it could be two years before he is ready to fight two weights up.

IMO McGregor loses his advantage though against Diazā€¦the weight is one thing but Diazā€™s chin and his reach should be too much going by form.

McGregor also canā€™t play the mind games with him, if anything he lost it the other night throwing the monster drink cansā€¦

It would be serious redemption for him if he could do itā€¦and it would give him serious clout in the UFCā€¦another defeat on the other handā€¦would be v hard to come back from brand wise as the Notorious.

Either way theyā€™ll cash in, but 2 losses and his stock will be a lot lower.

Heā€™s only one weight up this timeā€¦how do you see it going pal?

Trueā€¦ I think Diaz will have too much for him but if McGregor has been training properly then who knows. He gassed after 1.5 rounds the last day and he knew instantly where he fucked up - by not doing enough stamina/conditioningā€¦ Nate may have been off on holidays last time but heā€™s a full time endurance athlete, he took a bit of punishment but McGregor tired himself out as much as anything throwing stupid punches trying to finish it early- If he can avoid the floor he has the speed to nip in and out and land blowsā€¦But probably Diaz in 3

While heā€™s surprised people before, Iā€™m struggling to see how McGregorā€™s going to pull it off as well. I hear people reading way too much into the first round of the last fight. Nate fully used that as a feeling out round and didnā€™t even step up his pace until the second. Once he did Conor didnā€™t last pissing time. He got his ears boxed off and was getting stopped one way or the other.

It sounds like McGregor has placed a huge emphasis on cardio in his camp. The only way I can see him doing it is if he is sharp enough to control the distance and keep countering Diaz all night. Because he does have a bit of a handspeed advantage I think and his timing is good when heā€™s composed.

But I donā€™t think his footwork is good enough for him to do that. He has a couple of nice shots in his toolkit, but fundamentally his boxing is not all that great. Diaz is a taller man with a great jab and more experience sparring elite level boxers. It is very hard to maintain a comfortable distance against a taller opponent with a good jab even if you do have great footwork. It seems likely that he will get drawn into extended trades whether he wants to or not. I canā€™t see him outboxing or outlasting Nate if that happens.

Completly agree mateā€¦from what Iā€™ve heard Conors boxing has improved massively thoughā€¦training with that middleweight lad.

Both fighters can have no excuses as theyā€™ve both had full campsā€¦itā€™s setup for a great fightā€¦canā€™t see how anyone wouldnā€™t be looking forward to itā€¦In fairness to the Diaz brothers theyā€™re the hardest cunts you would ever meet and back their talk up.

Unfortunately itā€™s advantage Diaz but you have to hope McGregor could hurt him like he did in the first the last day over 3/4 rounds.

Looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow night.

I thought McGregor was supposed to have a high level kicking game? People used to say that about him at least. When Diaz has been so disabled by opponents who targeted his lead leg before, is there any reason McGregor never did anything of that nature at all? It would seem to be a great weapon for Conor if he was capable of using it.
