I can only compare to the Cork camogie team really but vast majority of those girls are not fatter than the hockey players at all.
It’s very good and getting better.
Football is outstanding.
Fitness is key.
The Cork senior camogie Championship is now a very enjoyable and competitive Competition. And teams getting S&C in is a big part. Genuinely 7 or 8 teams could win it this year. Coaches from mens game switching over too as partly it’s not as frowned upon but also it’s a way better set up. Games are regular and you do get a plan.
They have a summer cup in cork where nobody is allowed use senior or intermediate Cork players. So everyone is getting regular games. I believe Cork Camogie looked at nordie club scene in club football and designed their own system.
I had a choice this year between a senior football and senior camogie team and it was a no-brainer tbh
