Could the Munster Council or whoever organised this not have sent out a dress code to keep a bit of consistency here.
Roscommon roasters are something else.
Some fantastic roasterism on display from both sides yesterday. Firstly there was the lad from Limerick who was beside us in the pub before the game. He delved into a plastic shopping bag and hauled a massive tinfoil slab of sandwiches. He passed them around his group before proudly insisting we have one too. Mine seemed to be a mix of corned beef and laughing cow cheese, while @Julio Geordio was treated to the culinary delight that is chicken and red sauce.
Clare, never wanting to be outdone in the roaster stakes, proceed a fine display, highlighted by the auld Clare lad behind me, with no teeth and his 95 hat roaring. bawling and yahooing for the whole game.
Chicken and red sauce.
Unreal
It was rank and I had to eat it out of politeness. I was hoping it might be relish or something. He fed half of Sarsfields bar in fairness to him. He had enough sandwiches to feed a small army, must have been two slice pans worth
Ah the Roaster season is well underway now.
Relish? On match day in Thurles? Youâve been in Dublin for too long.
What would you know about match day in Thurles, you cuntbag.
