The Rugby Thread (Part 2)

Munster play lots of there home games at Musgrave park as the crowd would be lost at Thomond Park. Great thinking too.

Not true.

Munster filled out puc more times a cork hurling team has.

The gahliban hate marketing and the sports media

They get fierce giddy if a game is broadcast on the BBC or similar though. It’s all a bit odd.

So Munster don’t play home games v Zebre and Dragons at Musgrave Park because the crowd would be lost at Thomond Park?

No Munster has two cities in it and play games in both to satisfy sponsors and suits. It’s political if anything.

Nothing to do with crowd size.

The gahliban love big empty stadiums

The soggy biscuits are circled.

Ulster football too

Johnny Sexton comes across as a bit of a dick in the times today. Touch of the “always the victim, it’s never our fault” about him.

Munster has three cities.

Hardly surprising. I’d go easy though.

We lost but we won.

Congrats to the Irish ladies who beat the Black Ferns overnight in Canada. A massive result for them

There used be fierce commentary on TFK when they were struggling badly a few years ago. Looking forward to a good conversation on the game once we have all watched it back

Was that a friendly?

It’s amazing what can happen when you give a sport profile and try and grow it.

No. Its the annual WXV comp

Some turnaround for them in a few years :muscle:

We have no truck with rugby in Munsters third city. It’s a hurling and soccer city.
