The Rugby Thread (Part 2)

Nah, that’s just not true. Zebo would have been expecting Crowley to stop him and have half an eye on what may develop after. That was Crowley’s tackle to make. You’d always miss an odd one, it’s just one of those things.

Zebo made no effort at all though. He was hobbling for 20 mins before that tbf

Course he made an effort.

Crowley is a great young fella but Zebo can’t be expecting his 10 to be stopping Hendy. He should be getting him

Munster need to bring in two good props and a good hooker and they will be competitive. If they don’t, they won’t. None of the front row today were up to it in this competition. You need them from the bench as well. You need 3 more front row players every bit the level of Jager or this will keep happening.

That has been obvious for close to a decade now and still they have done fuck all about it

DuPont and Ntamack playing for Toulouse here.

DuPont packing it in isn’t he soon?

They’ll probably sign another Irish project centre in the summer!

James Cronin had a fine game last night by all accounts

He played well alright. He’s 33 as well. And he had Dan cole and Montoya in front row with him

They’d high hopes knox or that Hawaiian fella was going to turn into a good prop. Munster have always produced good front rows in the past. They’ve gone from exporting hookers to struggling to find one.

Which one?

Connacht putting in a great performance in Pau

Big credit Connacht

Missed the entire second half but in fairness that was a very unConnacht-like way to finish out a close game. They needed that win.

They were excellent

Prendergast is a proper leader for a lad playing in a physically weakish pack. Delighted for the fairly big Connacht away supporters. They’ve seen some amount of shite in person this year and deserved that.

They definitely don’t have the strongest pack but they are very mobile and abrasive

Think you are being harsh on them overall. Not having the best season but Munster only have one game more won than them in the league

That’s being generous. They’ve had a disastrous season since beating Sharks away and have blown so many wins late on that it can’t really be written off as unlucky.

Bundee and Bealham are big additions but a proper 10 is so important. JJ and Carty can’t be relied upon as first choice outhalves.
