The Rugby Thread (Part 2)

Abysmal from Zebo

Crowley was worse, brutal pass and then missed the first tackle

Zebo pulled his hamstring 20 mins ago.

Crowley threw a shite pass to start that off

Me hoop

You mustn’t have been watching.

The good old days of Irish rugby tackling from Crowley and Zebo there. Rob Saunders and Brian Smith would have been proud of that.

Play a bit of territory but no, too much playing through hands in their own half

Can’t really complain. They’ve a good starting team but can’t really afford any injuries.

They’d have been destroyed next week v the bulls in the high veldt.

After going in level at HT, that’s just shocking.

Ambition is one thing but be realistic about your players and play to upset your opponents

Have done well to keep it as close as they have with no bench …archer and both second rows gonna play the full 80

Need ahern at 6. He’s wasted in the scrums.

Effort great but it was crazy trying to run it up field against a fresh opponent.

Play expansively in their 22 or half.

Just thought the kicking aspect of the game was t leaned on enough

Crowley is a shockinh defender

Northampton probably the best counter attacking side in England so kicking might have been a folly as well…we don’t have a good kicking game full stop…Crowley is ok but other than zebo then none of the backs can kick it really

Not only no bench but there just wasn’t enough quality in the starting team today either. Put a few of the injured players back in and it’s probably a different story.

You could see that Crowley was only going to slow down Hendy for last try and Zebo has to be there to nail him imo

Yeah true. Saints has a lod of experience on bench as well

Munster left it behind them in the first-half with the chances they created. Camped on the Northampton line for the first 5 minutes but couldn’t get over.
