Tyrone declining to do interviews again.

I’d love if they won the AI this year and that night a bewildered Marty is stood at the hotel reception unable to get any interviews from them. Has to get comments from a few pissed up fans at the bar doing jäger bombs instead.

I’ve forgotten all the reasons why Tyrone snub RTE.

There was apparently a satirical piece on John Murray’s radio show about Mickey Harte but he took grave offence to it and thought it was deeply insensitive after his daughter’s death.

I think there was at least 1 other thing, maybe more.

Brolly’s rant about Cavanagh 2 or 3 years ago perhaps?

The initial reason was after Michael O’Muirihertig retired. Harte felt that Brian CARTHY should have got the gig afterwards and got stroppy with RTE. He refused to do interviews after that.

That’s a shame. I need to see that again but the Dublin player appeared to drag him down deliberately when he was off the ground having claimed the kick out in the air.
