The Saturday/Sunday Game Thread

Definitely. Thomas Kane is an excellent broadcaster.

Didn’t realise Tyrone were still snubbing RTE. Is this still because of Brian CARTHY?

Tyrone declining to do interviews again.

I’d love if they won the AI this year and that night a bewildered Marty is stood at the hotel reception unable to get any interviews from them. Has to get comments from a few pissed up fans at the bar doing jäger bombs instead.

Thats all I need to hear.

Good job he didn’t bring Brenda up there today then

What did Des just try to do there? ‘Galway vs Ger Lough, sorry Galway vs Clare’

Westmeath Ray Connellan broke his leg today after.

I’ve forgotten all the reasons why Tyrone snub RTE.

There was apparently a satirical piece on John Murray’s radio show about Mickey Harte but he took grave offence to it and thought it was deeply insensitive after his daughter’s death.

I think there was at least 1 other thing, maybe more.

Brolly’s rant about Cavanagh 2 or 3 years ago perhaps?

Onion bag :fearful:

Sice took a fair few steps for his goal

The initial reason was after Michael O’Muirihertig retired. Harte felt that Brian CARTHY should have got the gig afterwards and got stroppy with RTE. He refused to do interviews after that.

Used the sketch as an excuse.

That first Galway goal was fairly agricultural, a great throwback.

Comer seems to have been unreal

Was that it? I never heard it so I can’t comment on it one way or another. I just remember Harte getting in a strop after Brian CARTHY didn’t get the gig

That’s a shame. I need to see that again but the Dublin player appeared to drag him down deliberately when he was off the ground having claimed the kick out in the air.

McStay looked a broken man there.

Hard to see them raising a gallop next weekend.

These Muldoons deliberately targeted Diarmuid Connolly, they can have no complaints if they get a taste of their own medicine.

Danny Cummins seems like a good lad for an interview.
