Liam McHale was on Newstalk during the week, it was after Joe Brolly’s piece, which was excellent. If I was involved with the Galway set up I’d have been laughing at the good of it, practically said his team was afraid to kick long ball to their forwards, completely undermining a set up he was involved in.
Great to see Galway back. They have a tendency of performing well in Croke Park, but the games changed a bit of late, and we’ll see how they go against the new breed.

Disappointing to see Longford gone. Not a dig at Cork, but neither of them will do fuck all anyway and Longford fans would at least follow their team and have a bit of crack doing so.
