Pat may have had to comment but could barely contain his glee. Gavin has gone completely over the top but the notion that Spillane is some innocent neutral commentator is fairly laughable. Brollys imagining of how Spillane would have spun it if it was Colm Cooper in the dock shows how his choice of analysis set the tone.
