âThe Kerry Messiâ
Conwayâs talent would have been lost above in Castletroy.
Eddies an old school mate nearing retirement id say
Basically a Wexford side v UCC
A man I feel very sorry for in all of this is Billy McCarthy of Thurles Sars.
Would have been a key player on this journey for College had it not been for such a bad injury.
I believe he barely played 30 minutes of Fitzgibbon cup hurling in 5 years. A terrible pity.
Donât know him TBH,but itâs a good standard competition, future is bright for hurling, great to see Carlow etc competing at a high level
Better still
Lovely Harty Cup reminiscences from Bishop Wilie Walsh.
Harty final moved forward to 12pm with an 8.30 inspection tomorrow
And I leave you with John Grainger, the Godfather of modern day UCC GAA and his old friend Edwin Fitzgibbon. I make that 10 Fitzgibbon Cups that JG has been involved in.
Another great year for all Collegians and I look forward to talking to you all again in 2021 when we go in search of the three in a row.
Theyâll need an army to take that cup off JG and TK.
Harty cup final is off
Kilkenny Hurling is dead again
The posh boys beat SKC . If CBC win the Harty the gentrification of hurling with take a further big step
Colaiste Eoin wouldnât be overly posh. Great achievement for a relatively small school
Hell of an achievement.
Iâm delighted for them. One of the few second level schools in dublin that put a serious effort into hurling.
Wind factor ???
