The amount of times I’ve seen them driving around with their phones stuck to the side of their face is incredible.
It’s a pain in the ass but I would fight it. Best to tell them calmly on the spot you are contesting it and will see them in court. Even in the USA where you can get shot, they will back down.
On duty police and army officers are permitted to use mobile phones when driving. Think they can also drive without seat belts as well
