Imagine in the hypothetical scenario that left wing accounts had been posting up such messages and carnage like tonight ensued, do you think the same posters that are claiming what happened tonight is not far right would be trying to absolve the left?

I do think most of them are racist and anti immigrant though. In fact I’d be almost certain of it. They are eating up social media. It’s not the ‘reason’ for the riot and it’s not their raison detre as people or anything but they are easy pickings for the actual far right.

Listen pal, I hope you didn’t have the misfortune like my family did to live next door to a multiple welfare recipient in a free house that was not registered to vote (I checked the register), I’ve documented it all here before yet her and her scum partner were protesting outside the asylum accommodation here back in March, I was forced to sell my house from the anti social behaviour, as a supposed left winger she was getting benefits all round yet turned into a right winger protesting immigrants being housed as I’ve documented above and yet you have a go at me about political awareness. Give me a fucking break.

We are not going to fall into that trap.” - that comment by Drew Harris in an interview last summer was referenced by @Cheasty earlier & I think his analysis is spot on. These far right cunts have become more emboldened over time & the hands off approach at East Wall, Finglas & Kildare Street amongst other places has allowed things to snowball. The shocking attack earlier was just the trigger for them to kick off tonight. Of course there’s some scumbags with no wider reference points latching onto this but these ringleader characters like O’Keeffe, Pepper, Dwyer et al are all over social media & telegram groups whipping up hatred against minorities & organising these protests. I think it’s naive to think these are entirely opportunistic and non-politically affiliated pricks on the rampage, it’s been building as part of a wider movement & they’re across all these wedge issues.

They’re sociopathic rather than racist. They hate everybody. They rob bikes , they shoplift, they don’t work, they deal drugs , they are a professional welfare class who take and take and take. They come from a community that has felt threatened by immigration and protested against it. The attack is a Trojan horse for them to go on the rampage.
We need to reform the criminal justice system so recidivist cases go away for lengthy sentences and so that people can’t just sit on welfare paid for by other people’s graft.

Don’t disagree with a lot of that but why is nobody racist?? These lads are absolutely 100pc racist as well as all the other stuff you mention.
I think a ban on e-scooters is needed. From the videos I saw on social media this evening - they were central to the anarchy.
