I think the fair point is that the Brazilian lad inadvertently monetized what was a group effort, and to my mind may have donated half the money to the others, or to the victims.

The go fund me schtick is over the top though.
Each to their own but I wouldn’t feel right about taking a penny for helping tackle a criminal who stabbed children, all the more so as one of those children was still seriously ill.
