sorry kev, i generally agree with you, but music is about what generates emotions in people and different people like different things
farmer goes out and tries various different types of music to see what he likes, and itās clearly his passion, the thread is about people putting up music they like, and itās all going to be very different or this thread would consist only of the topp 100 songs from rolling stone.
the thread encourages people to listen to new music and for that i say well done to all 
you even said that the film thread had given you a few films to look at and you should be adopting a similar approach here
i have to say that iām fairly underwhelmed with some of farmers stuff, but then again, he has put me onto some fine music that i would have never listened to
mind you, i enjoy calling farmer a music snob as much as the next man
anyway back to the music
