Sorry, I should have been clearer, the final will be a formality.
Ronnie O’Sullivan clinches his fifth World title with a 17-11 win.
Barry Hawkins wins all 4 frames of the session to take a 16-12 lead and now needs just one more.
Hawkins wins 17-14
Has he any chance against chigwells finest sid
No. If he reaches double figures he’ll be doing very well. He deserved a final place more than Walden though, as he’s beaten Selby and Ding whereas I don’t think Walden had beaten anybody in the top 32. O’Sullivan is world number 28.
Has a citog ever won the world championship

Good start to the Sunday evening session here for Hawkins.
Hawkins playing some great snooker. A 135 break levels the game up at 7-7. O’Sullivan being asked serious questions now.
Very enjoyable session of snooker there. O’Sullivan leads 10-7. Hawkins is a good little player.
Massive frame there at the end which Hawkins really needed but a poor shot on the black ball cost him. O’Sullivan leads 10-7 overnight.
What a time to get a “kick”.
End of Session:
O’Sullivan 15-10 Hawkins
Hawkins with a century takes the first set of the final session and is now 4 behind.
Hawkins comes across as an alright sort and he’s given an excellent account of himself in this final so far.
That was a break of the highest, highest quality from Barry Hawkins and he brings it back to 15-12. Ronnie has missed a couple of easy balls so far.
He could have put the pressure on Ronnie big time if he had seen that last frame out… another mistake here.
Go on The Rocket.
The Rocket is poetry in motion, a joy to watch.
