Was watching a bit of the Selby game earlier, he came back from 5-1 down to force a decider only to lose.

Watched a repeat of Fu’s 147 on BBC earlier. I have to say Stephen Hendry’s commentating was first class. I was sceptical about the dour, acne ridden Scot’s promotion to the BBC commentating ranks but he’s been outstanding.

The way he developed the break pinpointing which balls Fu needed to cannon, kiss etc was an insight into the mind of a genius. He really complimented the action superbly and Fu’s break was a thing of beauty.

Stephen Maguire beat Judd Trump 6-4 to set up a second round meeting with Shaun Murphy. The Glasgow potter lost the first two frames and needed a snooker in the third to stop himself from going 3-0 down. He got the snooker and played brilliantly from then on to record a fine victory.

@Sandymount Red It was remiss of you not provide a link to facilitate the TFK brethren to watch Fu’s 147 after such praise.

The Ally Pally was absolutely rocking today as Ronnie equaled Hendrys record for centuries

Ali Carter has just knocked in a wonderful 130 break to take a commanding 5-1 lead over Barry Hawkins. Great to see the Captain back and playing great snooker:clap:

And Carter takes the next set to seal a tremendous 6-1 victory and set up a 1/4 final with Neil Robertson.
