If Higgins stays with Ronnie, you’d give him every chance if it’s in the balance at the business end. Higgins was poor for a lot of that Quarter Final though and a more clinical player than Lisowksi would have blown him away. I can see Ronnie running away with it and winning something like 17-6/17-7.
Other one harder to call. Trump by his own admission was out of sorts coming into tournament and played as such most of the way through it. He might just have turned a corner though with that comeback from 5-8 down against Bingham, when it looked like it was going to be 5-9. I’d give Trump a tentative nod to beat Williams.
Would agree about Yan. Trump and Robertson were around for a number of years before they won the Worlds. So were Ebdon, Dott and Ken etc. Ronnie, Higgins, Williams were generational talents but most players have to serve an apprenticeship. Yan and Zhao should win it.
out of the 4 that are left williams has played the best so far except for a few frames yesterday he has been in top form. I deffo would have them closer in the betting than what they are. i probably would be 1.8ish trump.
Ronnie hasn’t played that well either the same can be said for higgins too. Saying all that i would expect an 4-5 frame win for ronnie here.
