Juddâs game is just not at it, despite winning those 3 frames. Constantly just out of position on what should have been a routine clearance and ends up missing on a difficult plant to the middle after running out of position. Ronnie should mop up from here.

Judd makes heavy weather in two visits of closing the deficit to 9-13.
Heâs plugging away admirably. Certainly a freshness in his demeanour that wasnât there last night.
12 frames is the figure that I always think denotes a reasonable degree of respectability in a final defeat. Looks to have a good chance of reaching that.
